Today’s find: Driven

A couple of times over the past 10 years, I have been “driven out into the desert.”

I don’t think ‘envy’ or ‘jealousy’ fuels the reaction to one of my least-favorite holiday-themed TV ads in 2016.

It’s hard to tell, based on St. Mark’s account, precisely what happened to Jesus during his desert sojourn.

We learn that it lasted for forty days—but Mark provides none of detail we find in the stories told by Matthew and Luke.
