I was introduced to St. Basil the Great — patron of hospital administrators and opponent of Arianism (a fourth-century heresy that denied the divinity of Christ). His feast day is January 2.
As for my own blogging this week, I took inspiration from my infant granddaughter — who’s still looking at the world through new eyes …and melting her granddad’s heart with her soft touch.
