Today’s find: Precarious

My toolbox is actually a tackle box.

Which is to say, I keep a collection of allen wrenches and screwdrivers in compartments meant for fishing hooks, lures and swivels.

Patience is a virtue, they say. But apparently NOT when one is waiting for a bathroom sink to drain.

It occurs to me that faucet repairs, like salvation history, tend to require a lot of manpower.

At least, that’s the legacy I seem to have received from my father.

You’d think that—after 36 years of wedded bliss—Gerri would know this about me: Plumbing and I simply DO NOT MIX.
