Sunday Snippets

How about kicking off your Super Bowl Sunday with a little inspirational reading or reflection? You’ll find some starting points at RAnns place — where there’s a weekly gathering of Catholic bloggers huddled under the title of Sunday Snippets.

This week’s question:  What was the biggest change in your life recently? And that’s an easy one for me — our first grandchild came into the world a month ago Monday. She continues to delight us with her unique view on the world.

As for blogging this week: I wrote a reflection on a father’s role in encouraging religious vocations…and I said farewell to a dear friend and spiritual companion, one who is now a full-fledged member of the communion of saints.


Let us pause now…to remember that we are in the presence of the Holy One.
