This is really beautiful, John…your story, Fujimura’s and Nicodemus’. Thanks for resharing it because I hadn’t seen it before. These “long roads to rebirth” are crucial and more lasting than those quick flashes in the pan, although I think I have experienced both in my life. Over the past week, Sue and I rewatchers season five of The Chosen, and I think my favorite part has been watching Nicodemus inch closer and closer to Jesus, sniffing him out, as it were. And then, last night at our Good Friday service, there he is, brave enough to help move the body and prepare it for burial. He’s an intriguing character, to be sure.
Blessed Easter to you and Gerri.
Steve
Agreed, Steve…Nicodemus is one of the show’s most intriguing characters…
And also agreed: the long road is a blessing!
John, this really hit me, thank you. And I’ve got to say, Steadfast Spirit was right there with me all Lent. It truly made a difference. Really grateful for you, my friend.
It’s been a blessing to share this road with you through the years, too, Shawn! Easter blessings to you, Leslie and the whole gang!
