Today’s find: O Antiphons

We’re heading in to the home stretch of our Advent season of anticipation. You can tell, because today we began the countdown of the ‘O Antiphons’…a thousand-year-old liturgical tradition that will continue through Christmas Eve. So perhaps a pause is in order, to savor the first in the series:

O Wisdom of our God Most High,
guiding creation with power and love:
come to teach us the path of knowledge!

Today’s find: Chillin’

The heat didn’t kick on overnight, so things were a bit chilly in church this morning – a reminder that our almost-40-year-old building is showing some unmistakable signs of age.
